The Baix Empordà district offers a wide range of possibilities for doing something different. such as discovering the hidden coves of the Costa Brava via the circling paths (caminos de ronda) visiting medieval towns full of history and legends , or visiting the marshes and natural spaces .
Given the richness and variety of Baix Empordà. it is possible to practice many different sports. Examples include cycle tourism along the extensive network of marked routes, golf or Pitch&Putt, which are only few kilometres away, scuba diving on the Islas Medes or horseback riding on the dunes of the long beaches.
Who would not enjoy a bird's eye view of Baix Empordà, from a hot-air balloon, or to feel the wind while paragliding or ultralight flying just a few metres from the mouth of the Ter river, over the Islas Medes or the town of Pals?
